Lake Tekapo

Lake Tekapo

Bushes, all brown and prickly like the ones you see at the beach, cover the mountain we are climbing. I see the towering pine trees sway in the cool breeze.

Cameramen are taking photos of the other mountains. Dirt and gravel rolls under people's shoes. Big, dull-grey rocks laid scattered around the mountain.

Lake Tekapo goes on and on like a never ending road surrounded by Mountains with snow all over them.

Here is me on a big rock by lake Tekapo.

Madie this is a amazing description, we can picture lake tekapo very clearly. We love when you say dull-grey rocks laid scattered around the mountain it matches the story well.
We're going miss you next year very much.😟😟😊😊

  2. Your description is amazing! I loved how you discrived bushes how you related it back to the beach. I can build an image in my head with cameramans snapping a picture each second. I imagine white on the tip of the mountain. I went to lake tekapo a couple of days ago. There were still snow on the tip of the mountains but not much.
I love the photo and I think I took a photo on the same rock.

  3. Madie This piece of writing was very poetic, I liked it best when you used your senses by saying I see the towering tree, I also loved it how you talked about the camera men taking photos of other mountains I don't know why but this made me chuckle.
When I read this what comes to mind first is a camp I went to and we used to run around the field and laugh in the breeze. I think what to do next is to use better words but I know your doing that well now.
