Low ropes at camp

I remember running through the forest

and wondering what was going to be thrown at us.

I remember arriving at the extreme low ropes

as a shiver of excitement crawled up my spine.

I remember walking unbalanced across the rope

while my friends Mana and Soraya watched every step I took.

I remember swinging on the rope and jumping onto the tyre

before scurrying back with a smile as big my face.

  1. Wow Madison, your poem was really breathtaking this seems very real, it sends a chill down my spine, this made me feel very excited and made me feel like this happened yesterday, that we were running through the forest smiling at each other because we so happy. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and experience this over and over again. Next camp I will remind you of all these good memories that we had together and maybe we will have the same experience. I can't wait till next camp.

  2. Great job Maddie. Your peom really made me feel an emotion with all the great language you used. It reminded me of when I did the high ropes and how excited I was about trying them for the first time. Keep up the good work.
